Lessons & Courses

At IndiEgg Studios, building tools for educators and creating curriculum for them go hand in hand. If you found us through our WordPress plugins, you might be surprised to find lesson plans here. If you found us through Teachers Pay Teachers, you might be surprised to find WordPress plugins. Either way, welcome. It all comes from the same place: a passion for making great education accessible to everyone.

Beginning Web Development

A complete, year-long web development course for high school students. 180 one-hour lessons covering HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the order they would be taught, from the very first tag to dynamic, interactive web pages.

Designed for non-technical teachers who need to deliver rigorous, career-ready instruction without a computer science background. Every lesson is ready to teach out of the box, with no prep beyond reading the teacher guide.

Each lesson includes:

  • A slide presentation
  • A hands-on classroom activity with a CodePen template students complete in the browser, no software installation or expensive computer equipment required
  • A 10 question multiple-choice quiz
  • A three-question reflection activity
  • A homework assignment
  • An answer key or rubric where appropriate
  • A teacher guide

Suitable for traditional classrooms, remote teaching, and homeschool environments.

How to Buy

Lessons are available through our Teachers Pay Teachers store individually, in five-lesson weekly bundles, in six-week thirty-lesson bundles, and eventually as a complete one-year bundle when all 180 lessons are published. New lessons are added weekly. Follow our store to be notified when new content is available.

We currently have four lessons published with more added every week.
